Company description
Psychotherapy in London for emotional issues, relationship problems and challenges in your work life. Sometimes life isn't how we want it to be, talking with a therapist can help to bring clarity and understanding to issues and problems in life.
I believe that we can create the life we would like, and therapy can help us to form what we'd like for ourselves.
I work with people in a confidential one to one setting, to build a trusting relationship. I will listen and empathise so we can develop what you would like for yourself at this stage in your life and what you'd like from your wider relationships, so you can take charge over your experience.
I have been working as a therapist for the last seven years. I have also worked in the film and media industry for 20+ years and more recently I have worked as senior consultant for a matchmaking company as a date coach. I now work freelance and I enjoy working with creativity, intelligence and purpose. I understand the pressures that work, family and relationships can place on us and the importance of how we manage our experience within these parts of our life and find a satisfying balance.
I am also a working mother and have worked with both men and women on the challenges that separations/divorce, work/life balance and parenthood can bring us. I enjoy working with people in the creative industries, freelancers and looking at how we experience creativity whatever our chosen work.
I bring my warmth, integrity and understanding to the work, with a commitment to holding a safe and boundaried space for you. If you have any questions about how I could work with you then please call or email me to arrange an initial, exploratory session.
I have worked at the Daubeney Children's Centre, in addition to working at Mind with men and women, so have experience when working with mothers and their children, relationship issues with partners, breakups, violence, depression, rape, abuse, stress, anxiety, fear and a feeling of being stuck or lacking choice in our lives.
I have also worked in a challenging job within the media for over 20 years, and have experience of dealing with work stress, career management, transition and change.
