Reviews

We have just had a very bad experience with Little Ones Agency. They found me an au pairgirl of 18 who had no experience of looking after children. I found out that she had walked into the agency a few days before they placed her with me and she had no CRB. Still we took her as we were told she had been thoroughly scrutinised. she seemed really lovely and came to our interview on time and from a long distance. We quickly discovered she really wanted to dance every evening- (she gave us a list of class times the next day-)that meant leaving at 17.00 every day- bath time when a mother needs the most help. She made no effort to get to know the children or clean up after herself or learn light housework- all she really wanted was board and lodgings at our expense and it was a real shame and inconvenience for everyone. In fact it put us off having an au pair living in the house altogether. When we repeatedly contacted Little Ones they continually quoted their terms and conditions and said they could give us a replacement but no money. We didn't want a replacement and we felt it would be honest and fair for them to give us SOME of our money back. We had paid £1700 and do not feel we got anything for our money. They refused to return any monies whatsoever - We feel robbed and shocked by the attitude of this

We too had the worst experience with this agency. They provided a nanny/housekeeper who was not fit for the job. To be honest she wouldn't have been fit for babysitting or washing dishes even and I think her CV was a total fabrication. They refused to put us in touch with her referees when I wanted to check on her as she clearly was out of her depth. She couldn't cook, not even for a 3 year old! Not even beans on toast. She left our daughter alone in the bath, she lost her on several occasions, she couldn't do any housework whatsoever - she couldn't wash up a dish or even use the dishwasher (Despite being almost 30!!). The agency were no help at all and wanted to charge us another £3000 to find someone new!! Absolutely no way I would trust these shysters with my child ever again. Stay away. You'd be safer on gumtree!!

Totally agree with all these reviews. They were terrible!!! Just beyond awful and should be closed down. I'm surprised they haven't been in court for the danger they put the children in. iWe had the worst experience ever with Little Ones Agency. I would recommend that everyone avoid them at all costs. We hired a nanny/housekeeper to help with our toddler and the lady we ended up hiring was totally unsuitable. She couldn't boil and egg, she left our daughter without any dinner several nights. She didn't know how to get her to sleep - she was still up playing at midnight several nights when we got home!! She ignored all of our instructions and didn't know how to do any housework - even washing up was beyond her!! She was unsuitable and useless, I can't believe they ever vetted her. They refused on several occasions to send me the references so I could double check them. I called Little Ones several time to complain and hey didn't even email or call us back!! They didn't help us out or even offer a replacement. Only when I finally had to call our lawyer did they offer a replacement. But there is no way we would trust them with our child ever again!! Several of the nannies I interviewed told me that they ask all the nannies to post good reviews on here to make them look good and that then they will help them get a good position if they write them good reviews. Just disgraceful behaviour all round from them.

Should be NO STAR, very high fees, zero follow up, absolute rip off, person they send for interviews are of low quality and doesn't match job description. When complained for dispute, they ignored me. They want to send the same ones from the ones that I couldn't take for replacement interview. I thought they are a very bad company. Do not let their glamorous office address fool you.

I won't even give them one star. I couldn't agree more with the review above. Do not use this agency, it is terrible. The fees are gastronomical and even though they pride themselves on screening, the nanny we hired was not at all suitable to look after children. we paid over 2.5k......please save your money. There are much much better agencies out there.

Little Ones are absolutely awful. They charge very high fees for finding second rate bilingual nannies who they barely screen at all. And if your nanny doesn't work out, forget their "replacement guarantee" they've already got your money and you're out of luck. If you're considering using them save your money and find your nanny on Gumtree - 25 year olds that speak a foreign language are not difficult to find in London. Better yet, find a more reputable agency.
