Southwold is a wonderful place to explore. Fantastic walking. Good place to Cycle and explore the fabulous countryside. Relatively unspoilt and fairly traditional in every way. We love Southwold!
The Suffolk coastal town of Southwold sits on the River Blyth and is in the Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. As well as the river, the North Sea and Buss Creek mean that the town is also almost entirely surrounded by water and that there is only one road which enters Southwold.
