By car (via the A30): - Proceed south on the A30, through Cornwall. - At Chiverton Cross roundabout take the 3rd exit at the first roundabout and then the 3rd exit at the second. - This is the B3277 signed towards St.Agnes. After 500 metres turn at the tourist information sign directing you to the Rose-in-Vale. - This will take you into Mithian. Turn right at the 'Miners Arms'. - Proceed down the hill and you will find the hotel on your left at the bottom of the valley. Parking: Free parking is available on-site at the hotel. By air: - Direct flights to Newquay can be boarded from Bristol, Birmingham, Manchester, Stansted and Gatwick. By rail: - The nearest station is Truro (8 km). The hotel can can arrange for a hired car or taxi to meet you from Newquay airport or Truro station. Please contact the hotel for details. St. Agnes Beacon (4 km) - this dominant lankmark stands 629 metres above sea level. Offering panoramic views of the cliffs, 23 miles of coast can be seen on a clear day. Chapel Porth (5 km) - One of numerous beaches in the area, this attractive area offers stretches for miles at low tide and offers a wealth of walking opportunities. Its cliffs are famous for their distinctive red stain - according to myth the blood of a Cornish giant called Bolster.
