Cleaning the place at the end of a lease is a bit of a pain if I’m honest. I found that the best way to ensure that I did not get over loaded with work was to get London House Cleaning involved, and it was a discovery that saved me a load of work, and probably a decent chunk of my deposit as well. A land lord tends to take a fair amount if they feel that you have not looked after the place, and if it’s not clean then they will find other reasons to add to the amount that they can take. I had nothing removed from my deposit having had the place professionally cleaned however.
