Our adventure into the footwear world started in 1890 when the company Bells Shoes was founded. The team launched Bells Shoes' first online store in 2007, all run from a small room above our Buxton store. The online business grew rapidly as our brand recognition increased and as the company expanded into retail on Ebay and the Amazon marketplace. Now with a reputable presence online, an independent footwear shop based in Derbyshire and employing over 50 staff, owner Edward Martin is planning further expansion for the business, new brands and an increased international offering.
