Krav Maga Self Defence is run by Simon Pither, a qualified 3rd Darga FEKM Black Belt Instructor with over 25 years of Martial Arts experience.
The club is based in Brixton and is part of the UK Sector of the FEKM, which is the worlds largest Krav Maga organisation with over 20000 members in 9 countries around the world. We work directly with senior instructors from Paris to maintain the key principles and techniques of Krav Maga.
Our club is friendly, the Krav Maga instruction is among the best in the UK, and you will get fitter, stronger and more flexible along the way – what’s not to like ? !
A large part of each class is based around what is called ‘scenario based training’, where a defence against a specific attack or threat type is demonstrated and then broken down – this approach is what makes krav maga different from a martial art – you should leave every class better able to defend yourself.
The 'FEKM' style of Krav Maga is wholeheartedly based on the principles of Krav Maga that the founder, Imi Lichtenfeld, instilled in Richard Douieb before giving him the responsibility for developing Krav Maga in Europe.
