Funkymonk matcha is made by stone grinding only the finest tips and buds of the tea bush, taken from the first harvest of the year, which results in an intensely green powder producing a fresh and sweet tasting tea, a million miles away from the bitter tasting matcha's that result from using the less delicate leaves from lower down the tea bush.
