Healthcare Environmental is the largest independent full facilities waste management company in the UK. We specialising in hazardous, medical and healthcare wastes. We provide waste and washroom services to over 35,000 locations each month throughout the UK.
We operate our own fleet of more than 80 modern, fuel-efficient vehicles and a network of waste transfer stations and treatment facilities with a combined permitted annual capacity for the treatment of in excess of 55,000 tonnes of hazardous clinical waste. We provide clinical, offensive/washroom and hazardous waste services to clients including NHS Trusts (and consortia of Trusts), private healthcare providers, local authorities, Police services, research organisations and the education sector throughout the UK.

We possess capabilities and hold the appropriate authorisations for difficult waste streams including Animal By-Products, wastes containing genetically modified micro-organisms (GMO’s) and Low-Level Radioactive wastes.
We manage a broad range of hazardous wastes for a number of our clients, including services for solid and liquid chemical wastes, waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) and asbestos wastes. We can also supply a full range of waste consumables to provide a complete service package.
