Mei Quan Academy is the largest Tai Chi organisation in London, and teaches all aspects of traditional Yang style Tai Chi, including both health and martial aspects, from beginners to advanced level.
We regularly run beginners courses at our Hackney Central branch, which introduce the 24-step Tai Chi short form, simple yet effective Qi Gong routines for health, and basic partnerwork. Our classes are taught in a friendly, supportive environment by professional teachers.
Mei Quan has been running since 1990, and has over 30 branches across London. The organisation runs regular workshops and cultural events in central London. If a student misses a class at their local branch they can make this up in any of our other locations.
