Founded by gemologist Lucy Crowther, Minka Jewels is a London-based jeweller with designs led by carefully handpicked, high quality stones. With the utmost discretion we create one-of-a-kind pieces from exquisite handmade engagement rings to bespoke jewellery.
Prior to founding Minka Jewels, Lucy worked as a stone trader in Hatton Garden and in India for the late, 'Munnu' of 'The Gem Palace'. Here she was exposed to some of the most rare and exceptional jewels in the world, whilst developing her skills in jewellery design.
Lucy has worked with many influential creatives over the years including Mario Testino, Mary Fellows, Sebastian Kauffman, Georgina Graham, Munnu Kasliwal and Madeline Weinrib; allowing her to develop a keen eye for colour, design and creativity.
Lucy studied Gemmology at the Gemmological Institute of Great Britain (Gem-A)
