Here at Scalford Hall Hotel we also have our very own Gym and Games Room, allowing you to stay fit and healthy during your stay. Our team will also lend you a hand if you’re not experienced in using gym equipment. The gym itself is free of charge exclusively for residents.

Location

Just 3 miles north of Melton Mowbray in Leicestershire, Scalford Hall is readily accessible by road, rail and air. By Car (from the north on the M1): - From the M1 motorway, take the exit at junction 24. - Turn left onto the A6 through Kegworth and on towards Loughborough. - At the end of the dual carriageway (1 mile), turn left onto the A6006 (signposted Rempstone Mowbray). - On entering town, continue straight over at the first set of traffic lights. - Turn left at the second set of traffic lights, into Scalford Road. - Scalford Hall is approximately 3 miles along Scalford Road, on the left-hand side. By Car (from the south on the M1): - From the M1 motorway, take the exit at junction 21a. - Take the A46 Leicester Bypass towards Newark. - Follow the A46 left at the roundabout (for 6 miles). - Ignore the directions towards Melton Mowbray at the first exit and continue on to Sixhills. - Leave the A46 at Sixhills and turn left onto the B676. - At the crossroads, turn right onto the A6006 towards Melton Mowbray. - On entering town, continue straight over at the first set of traffic lights. - Turn left at the second set of traffic lights, into Scalford Road. - Scalford Hall is approximately 3 miles along Scalford Road, on the left-hand side. By Car (from the north on the A1): - Leave the A1 at the third Grantham exit and turn right onto the A607 into Melton Mowbray. - On entering the town, pass St Mary's Hospital on the left. - At the traffic lights, turn right into Norman Way (signposted A606 Loughborough - At the second set of traffic lights, turn right (B Midland are on the right hand corner). - Having turned right, the Cattle Market is on your left and you are now on Scalford Road. - Scalford Hall is approximately 3 miles along Scalford Road on the left-hand side. By Car (from the south on the A1): - Leave the A1 at the third Stamford exit and turn left onto the A606 via Oakham into Melton Mowbray. - On entering the town, continue over the railway bridge and into the town's one-way system. - Keep to the right-hand lane, turn right at the traffic lights and pass Barclays Bank on your right. - At the next set of traffic lights turn into the A607. - Keep to the left-hand lane and turn left at the next set of traffic lights into Scalford Road (50 yards). - Scalford Hall is approximately 3 miles along Scalford Road on theleft-hand side. Belvoir Castle (25 km) - The castle's hilltop setting commands stunning views over the Vale of Belvoir. With glorious gardens and the fascinating castle to explore, there is something for everyone. During the opening season, the castle and the park also regularly host exciting events including a Steam Festival, Napoleonic Wars, Medieval Jousting, Teddy Bears Picnics, Family Days, Morris Dancing and Open Air Concerts and Theatre. Rutland Water (25 km) - The reservoir is a popular sports centre - as well as water sports such as sailing, visitors enjoy fishing, walking and cycling along a 25 mile (40 km) perimeter track. A pleasure cruiser, the Rutland Belle, carries people around the lake. Bird watching brings visitors from far afield. The Butterfly and Aquatic centre provides an indoor attraction. The National Space Centre (30 km) - This award-winning centre is fascinating and fun for all the family. The Space Centre is the UK's largest attraction dedicated to space, space travel and exploration. Leicester (30 km) - The historic city of Leicester is packed with things to do, with attractions for all ages, from museums to music, from bars to boutiques.
