For as long as I can remember I have always known I wanted to create a brand that reflected the heart I have for my motherland and birth place Ghana. SosoMe is to me so much more than clothing designed with African print fabrics and more a way of life that is deep rooted to the core of my heart. My hope is that one day Sosome will be a one stop place that meets the needs of the modern women in the diaspora. There is a special chicness to our Ankara clothing which is represented by our designs with our original print mixed fabrics and the quality finishing process of each dress. Our aim is for the clothes is to appeal universally to every need from going to work clothes to standing out in a room at special occasions. As the designer and owner I actively get involved with every piece that comes out of our design room, from hands on cutting the first patterns to overseeing the finishing stitch on all the collections. I am so passionate about the standard we represent because as an independent black owned business I am only too aware of the competition we face not just within our community but SosoMe has to be also able to compete on a global scale and whilst there are other brands out there offering African wear, we believe in the uniqueness of our designs and we work tirelessly to offer the best service we can.
