Knee osteoarthritis is becoming the main reason for joint replacement surgery, total or partial knee replacement. Early stages of the knee osteoarthritis present with a pain on either side of the knee. At this stage knee arthroscopy (key hole surgery) can be helpful if you have mechanical symptoms.
