Worst piercing experience of my life! I went to get a septum done. Now, I already have 4 peircings (belly button, tongue, medusa and micro dermal) and would like to think I can handle a little bit of pain. There, I started to scream and cry! The piercer took an aweful long time to pierce and in the end could not put the jewellery through. He blamed it on me, said that I had touched his hand when he was piercing. I was left there crying with a hole in my nose, no jewellery and a tissue soaked with blood. Despite all of that, the overall experience was absolutely aweful! He didn't try at any point to make me comfortable, didn't introduce himself or shook my hand; just gave me orders and was generally unpleasant (wouldn't even dry up the water on the chair he asked me to seat on). When I started to worry that he was actually going to pierce through the cartilage (which he did), he shouted: "Are you saying I don't know how to do my job? Cause if you're not sure, I' ve got a tattoo waiting upstairs!" I felt really intimidated and I think we can agree piercing and tattoo parlours are intimidating places to start with. But all my previous piercers were the nicest people and understood a client should be made confortable...not shouted at because they've got better things to do. I got my money back in the end but definitely feeling a bit traumatised. Run away kids!
