Very disappointed service. Never complaint to anyone, but i really unhappy for the service provide by them this few times. Last few month, my car show 'service' on the screen and i make an appoinment and tell them my car due to service, once arrive on the day, they told me the car was setting wrong, the service not yet due, and they reset to the correct date for me and next time can do the service and MOT at the same times. I have to re-arrange my job for the day and just wasting time to go to the BMW barnstaple, forget it! Few weeks ago, 'service' show on screen again, and i make appointment for the service and MOT this time. Yesterday, i went to BMW barnstaple for my appoinment, and there the lady said, you don't need service as is not due yet, so only MOT is needed. then fine, when i make an appoinment they said will take around 2 - 3 hour for both service and MOT, I also tell her that the wipers has problem which is need to check as well, and now i will then expect 1-2 hour for just MOT test. After drop my car and i walking to the barnstaple centre (with heavy rain - some times). and waiting for the call to tell me that the car is ready to collect, but 2 hours has pass, still no call and then i walks back to the BMW shop and there's no one on the desk, i sit there for 5 minutes, no one come and help and i saw there has a paper work for my car is ready on the table, and i find someone on the sales department and he said he will ask someone to help, and i carry on to sit for another 10 minutes, one lady said 'just a moment, i'll sort it out for you' then i carry on wait for another 15 minutes, and finally the lady come back to me and i ask 'is that MOT done, can i go?' Surprise! the lady said 'your car tyre has ..... which is need to change before we can pass your MOT, and nothing else is done but i need to paid for the MOT check for today. I was so angry, why they not calling me and ask me whether i am happy to replace the new tyre and wiper while they checking my car? Just a phone call to ask (like last time, they call and ask to replace the new brakes and give me estimate price, i'll be happy to let them change and will expect longer time to collect the car), but this time they not doing anything and just put the car back and paper work done on the table, when customer come back, get nothing done but payment. I never seen the service like this on any BMW shop, this is the first one also the worse one. Now i have to rebook for my MOT test again with the tyre and wiper change... and i have to re-arrange my work for another time. Why this will happen to me few times? is is because of the standard of service by BMW barnstaple has falls? So funny, i have received the message said 'Westerly Barnstaple BMW want to make sure all customers receive 1st class treatment, can you give us 5/5.....? Of course not, i will give minus 5/5 (-5/5). And, i am still waiting for the price, the lady said she will call and tell me the total price for the tyres and wipers... (maybe i will never received the call from her until the appoinment date) I hope the service will improved when i go back for my MOT test and tyre and wipers replacement next couple of week. Be honest, if there has another BMW retailer, i will never go back to Barnstaple Westerly.
