Dr Oteng-Ntim has been a Consultant Obstetrician at Guy's & St Thomas' Foundation Trust since 2004 and he is now head of obstetrics at Guy's and St Thomas' . His postgraduate training was at Hammersmith and Queen Charlotte's, West Middlesex and Chelsea and Westminster Hospital.
Eugene has vast experience with regards to community obstetric care in urban areas, obesity in pregnancy and reproductive health, the care of mothers with severe perineal and pelvic floor trauma following childbirth, and haemoglobinopathy in pregnancy.
He provides leadership and support to his peers and junior members of staff and contributes significantly to the governance agenda, driving forward evidence based standards of practice for all staff within maternity services. His collaboration with primary care colleagues and public health consultants has contributed significantly to the quality agenda within maternity services.
