Employed Joseph Bonner to paint house exterior on two faces and fit new facia and guttering. Joseph Bonner started but didn't complete work, never turned up to finish job, and the work that he did do was to an satisfactory standard. He used the wrong paint and applied it in the wrong way, leaving paint stains on double-glazed windows. The facias and guttering never materilised despite our paying for it. We won a county court small money claim (CCJ) against him and have instructed bailiffs to collect the money owed to us. Six other people also have CCJs against Joe Bonner totalling over £12500. We advise that it is best to avoid employing Joe Bonner.
