MY 93 YEAR OLD MOTHER RECEIVED A LEAFLESS AND LIFELESS MOULDY DEAD POINSETTIA FROM THIS FIRM LAST FRIDAY 18th DECEMBER. IT HAD NO LABEL OR GIFT TAG. HOWEVER DELIVERY TOOK ONLY ONE DAY ACCORDING TO THE DESPATCH LABEL! NO HURRY THOUGH AS IT WAS AN EX POINSETTIA! DELIVERED BY YODEL THE BOX WAS SLIGHTLY CRUSHED, BUT EXAMINATION OF THE PACKAGE SUGGESTS THAT IT WAS NOT SIGNIFICANTLY DAMAGED IN TRANSIT. (CRUSHED AREAS WERE COVERED IN STICKY TAPE APPLIED AT DESPATCH) AS I AM NOT THE PURCHASER I NEED THE NAME OF THE PERSON WHO PRESUMABLY SENT THIS AS A GIFT SO THEY CAN CLAIM POSTAGE AND REFUND. I CANNOT CONTACT THE FIRM USING THEIR GIVEN PHONE NUMBER AND THEIR RETURNS PROCEDURE WHICH IS VERY CONVOLUTED DOES NOT SEEM TO APPLY TO RECIPIENTS, ONLY TO THE PURCHASER WHOSE NAME I HAVE NOT BEEN GIVEN! THE POINSETTIA DELIVERED IS TOTALLY FOLIAGE BARE AND THE DRY MOULDY FOLIAGE WITH IT IN THE BOX COULD NOT HAVE BEEN REMOVED IN TRANSIT, THEY MUST HAVE BEEN OBVIOUSLY LOOSE OR ABOUT TO DROP OFF WHEN PACKED AND DESPATCHED. THE ITEM RECEIVED BARES NO RESEMBLANCE TO THE SPECIMENS SHOWN ABOVE OR ANYWHERE ON THEIR WEBSITE/BROCHURE WHICH I BELIEVE IS A BREACH OF TRADING STANDARDS AND SALES DESCRIPTION LEGISLATION. RETURN CONDITIONS SEEM TO BREACH THE DISTANCE SELLING REGULATIONS I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THEM.
