Tailored Testing and Fitting:
We tailor our testing to you, by using up-to-date testing equipment. We also follow the NHS standard when it comes to setting up your hearing aids, by performing real ear measurements. We have a wide range of hearing aid options and also ones that are compatible with smart phones.
Microsuction:
Ear wax is quite normal, but it can become a problem when impacted. It is also a common cause for whistling from hearing aids. Ear wax can be removed using drops, irrigation with water or microsuction. Microsuction is the preferred method as it is performed without water, under direct observation. At PinnaClear, we understand that you may not be able to get an appointment at the hospital for microsuction when you want to, so let us help.
Ear Protection:
Musicians or those that are regularly exposed to noise are at risk from hearing loss. PinnaClear provides custom ear protection with different levels of noise attenuation. We also offer swim plugs, which are beneficial for those who regularly suffer with ear infections or have a perforated ear drum. If you are a motorcyclist, the noise levels can reach damaging levels, too, so we also provide ear protection of cyclists. If you are having trouble sleeping due to a noisy partner or neighbours, we can provide you with snore plugs.
